Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Your email address and date of birth.
  • Your password, stored only as a secure hash. We can't see it.
  • Your IP address, used to protect accounts and stop abuse.
  • Your Socialite and what you do in the game, including messages and anything you post.
  • What you write to the support desk, so staff can help you.
  • If you joined from someone's invite link, whose link it was, so they can be thanked when you reach level 5.
  • Cookies: one keeps you logged in, one protects forms from forgery, one remembers that you confirmed you're 18 or older, and, if you follow an invite link, one remembers whose it was for 30 days.

Why we collect it

  • To run the game and your account.
  • To keep players safe: checking age, investigating reports, and stopping cheating and abuse.
  • To email you about your account, such as confirming your email or resetting your password.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
  • Other players see your Socialite and anything you post publicly, but never your email or date of birth.

Fonts and icons are served from our own site. When you sign up, Cloudflare Turnstile checks you're human, so Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details for that check.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. To see your data, or to have your account and data deleted, email noreply@secretsinthe.club.
